Second step is to do that with a number of bank accounts. For example, if you sell a physical product such as a book, you will be required at some point to reorder your books. If you have spent all of the money you received selling the book, then you will be stuck when you are out of books! Why not set up a product bank account and put a portion of your sales into that account? What a great feeling to have the money when you need more product.
I also suggest that you set up a Financial Freedom Account and a savings account. There is a tremendous level of confidence you will vibrationally exude when you are not running yourself into the red, operating on overdraft or always close to the line. Having a few thousand dollars in bank accounts will give you a cushion that goes far beyond the dollar amount. This is an “energetic” cushion.
When you receive money into your bank account, apportion it immediately. Pay yourself regularly and live on that amount. Just because this is your own business does not mean you can dip into the extra funds whenever you need them. That isn´t being responsible and you will get caught with your pants down at some point in time.
My heart still aches for the woman on the phone the other night. However, the next day she emailed me to say that she had set up the bank accounts and was on track to operate her business from a financial place of integrity.
If you want to be operating your business as a soul based business and as a spiritual entrepreneur, you need to be operating it at a financially responsible level. Creating the financial freedom you desire and need to create the lilfe you want is critically important. Even if you just start by putting a small amount in each account, it will trigger the sub-conscious mind and begin to establish a belief and program that is beneficial to your long-term financial goals.
This particular spiritual entrepreneur admitted that her head was in the sand, she was trusting that it was all going to work out, that somehow, someway, the money was just going to manifest! I adhere to the principle that you pray to God and then you tie up your camel. In other words, you exercise faith WHILE you use common sense! Spending money that doesn´t belong to you is not common sense, never mind a host of other not-so-nice things you don´t want to be engaged in.
Especially in these times of recession and financial woe, these prinicples are even more important. Stay in a place of integrity and you will be amazed at the good things you attract.
