Indigenous peoples worship the planet as the living body of the goddess. What if the gushing wound in the body of our Mother in the Gulf of Mexico could be healed by the women of the surrounding states and countries walking to the perimeter of the waters, kneeling there with the men standing behind them and joining in a healing song of love, appreciation, and respect. What if that worked better than caps and mud and gnashing of teeth and blame. The shift of consciousness involves at a foundational level using our relationship to Spirit to heal our selves and by extension our planet using the spiritual power we have all around us. Call spiritual power anything you like - love, forgiveness, surrender, gratitude. The times are calling for us to come out of the spiritual closet."
